The Swinomish Tribe - Department of Environmental Protection
Similk has been part of the Swinomish Tribe’s home since time immemorial. The Tribe currently operates Swinomish Golf Links and the Swinomish Shellfish Company at Similk, and is pursuing this project as part of its commitment to protect natural resources and recover Chinook Salmon populations.
Skagit River System Cooperative - Restoration
The Skagit River System Cooperative (SRSC), is a natural resources collaborative between the Swinomish and Sauk-Suiattle Tribes. SRSC helped author the regional Chinook recovery plan, and has undertaken significant research and restoration projects over the last 25 years.
